It is a fact that Barack Obama has used drugs. It is also a fact that Obama had associates such as Stuart Levine that were regular drug users with other men. Larry Sinclair has alleged that he and Obama had multiple encounters in Chicago between November 3 and November 8 1999. Sinclair alleged the first encounter was in a rented limousine where they used drugs and had gay sex. It is also documented that Obama was absent from the Illinois Senate on November 4, 1999. Per your request, I’ve sent information concerning Chicago-area rumors I’ve heard regarding Mr. Obama’s sexual forays to your attorney, including my identity, contact information and the name of my restaurant. He is free to contact me for additional information. Given the hostility and vehemence of many of Mr. Obama’s supporters in this matter, I’ve asked him, and am now asking you, to keep my identity (and restaurant name and location) confidential… but I will gladly give a deposition regarding the rumors. if Mr. Sibley thinks it would be useful.
For the record: the more vicious and puerile your attackers become, the more I’m inclined to believe your story. I was stunned by the vehemence of the pro-Obama posters on the ABC debate blog — they seem to think than any genuine questioning of their candidate is somehow illicit, when it’s simply a vital and, in this case, too-long-delayed part of the political vetting process. And as for Big Head DC and similar sites… well, suffice it to say that the inane vitriol being spewed there seems likelier to turn voters away from the posters’ candidate than to persuade people against listening to your story with an open mind. And while the way you’ve chosen to live your life has at times surely been less than exemplary, I don’t see that as the red flag certain others have tried to turn it into… it makes complete sense to me that it would be exactly your “type” that would be sought by politicians and other high-profile supposedly straight individuals in search of secret gay liaissons.
Again, my choice not to support Mr. Obama is based on the political, not the personal: his records both as state senator and as junior US senator have been stupefyingly lackluster, and he has been caught in far too many political-arena lies. That his penchant for lying would extend beyond the political and into the personal realm simply makes good sense to me.

As I indicated before, I have no smoking guns. I can’t testify that I’m sure that Mr. Obama has had sex with anyone (including his wife, for that matter). My attesting to having heard numerous rumors regarding Mr. Obama’s sex life is not hearsay — I have, indeed, heard those claims more than a few times, and from apparently unconnected sources. I can’t verify those rumors, obviously, but I can surely attest to hearing them. My initial post, which was at another political commentary site, was in response to people saying there had never been rumors regarding Mr. Obama’s sexual tendencies and activities. I’m from the Chicago area, and have heard numerous rumors (from customers at my business) regarding that subject, and I wanted to refute the never-any-rumors crowd. So no, my saying that I’ve heard many rumors about this isn’t hearsay.
Thank you, Bon. And Victor, that was the other part of my original reason for posting on this at savagepolitics.com: to encourage others who have any knowledge regarding this to come forward.

LS did not have multiple encounters with BO between 3rd and 8th November, 1999 unless you count two as “multiple”. And those two were on 6th and 7th.

There has to be a way to prove these allegations before Pennsylvania. If it is not, and Hillary loses Pa. or even wins it, the DNC has plans to try and get her to quit. If we get this man in office, and I am not trying to be dramatic, I feel our very freedoms as we know them will be jeopardized. At this point, I am extremely afraid. I have done a lot of research on Obama and there are a lot of known facts about him as well as allegations. There is also the unknown about him that scares people as much as the knowns. I believe we saw the beginning of the implosion of Obama when his elitist, arrogant personality was revealed. The good people of PA, NC and remaining primary locations will not be fooled by this man. I know there are many in NC that do not trust Obama. Even if Obama gets the Democratic Nomination, there is still plenty of time before the election.

You know the funny thing about rumors? Its just that they are rumors. One time I went to Chicago for the weekend….and by the time I made it back to work. My co-worker told me I heard you were at an after party this weekend. And tried to argue me up and down…and Im like dude I was in Chicago with my boyfriend.

1) Ignore all rational questions. Direct people to blogs and Youtube videos which say absolutely nothing.
2) If someone even remotely questions the validity of LS’s remarks, call them an evil Obama supporter.
3) Repeat steps one and two.
I was open to these allegations being true; that’s why I’ve been investigating them. Considering that every politician in a local, state, or national level that I’ve ever supported has dramatically failed me, I am wary of all politicians, *especially* the one I voted for in the primary.
The thing is this: if there was an ounce of truth to any of this, LS or you or any of his other supporters would have absolutely no problem providing the answers to simple questions e.g., what was the name of the “upscale lounge?”, what was the name of the company LS used to rent the limo?, what was the point of renting the limo anyway?, etc. etc. If he remembers the exact day the events occurred (though he seems to have trouble with the day of the supposed second encounter), then he should definitely remember the details I’ve asked about above. He refuses to answer such questions, then saying that he’s already told everything; he hasn’t. I ask, I point such things out, and he publicly displays my IP address and practically threatens me because I’m writing a comment to him from work. Is that the behavior of a rational man?
And the whole thing about the choir director. The guy was murdered in December, LS was in contact with him previously. LS’s video was added to Youtube in mid-January and he makes no mention of those allegations (which, if true, are far more damning than the ones he *did* post). He didn’t get to saying anything about the choir director until the end of February. Just more things that stand out to me about all of this…
Now, obviously you have faith in this story and nothing I say is going to shake that. However, you need to understand why the majority of people have no reason to believe. I did not come here to attack, but the fact that nobody wants to answer a simple question frustrates me.

I guess we will find out soon enough since it looks like the feces is about to hit the fan. L arry answered your question about Donald Young. Young was never part of Sinclair’s major thrust. It has always mainly been about the drug encounter. You either are not reading all of Larry’s blog or ignoring what he has said.
It’s the way of all politicians, citizenwells. The less you actually say, the more people believe that you are speaking to them.
If his main thrust was the drugs and sex, if he thought that was going to get more attention than a potential murder than there’s something wrong with them. Americans have proven that they don’t really care about a president who has extramarital sex and lies to their faces about it because of the way that Bill Clinton is regarded.
Murder’s a totally different thing.

Americans have always been concerned about Obama’s past and his personality. This is nothing new. As a candidate running for office the scrutiny should be allowed and welcome. That’s why I take the time to look into allegations such as those by LS. However, anybody accusing Obama of doing something which he has denied should be put under equal scrutiny. LS seems somehow shocked by this, that people are asking about his sketchy past and his current living situation. And if his story somehow gets beyond tabloids and conspiracy theorist radio, he will be put on display as much as BO has.
By the way, your example of one person at a family gathering holds no water. My dad’s a hard-core Republican who won’t vote for John McCain because he thinks he’s mentally unstable. So what? Does that magically make the NYT story that came out about his supposed affair with a lobbyist true, despite the fact that the only proof the paper had was an “anonymous source?” People have their opinions of voting or not voting for somebody all the time. Your family member who thinks BO is too liberal doesn’t somehow make LS’s allegations more likely to be true.
Given how positively he initially polled, his numbers had nowhere to go but down as people got to know them better. And if you spend enough time seeing any politician on TV, it’s basically guaranteed that you’re going to like them less, unless you’re some mindless sheep. I don’t see anything abnormal about how things have gone with BO, I see no evidence of implosion. Then again, it could be just a day away. We all saw how the media destroyed Howard Dean with one video. I didn’t even like the guy and it made me pause. The power of the media to destroy people is amazing.
And trust me, if they could find *any* corroboration to LS’s allegations, they would take Obama down in a heartbeat. No, they would have already done it. During sweeps.

Obama filing a lawsuit against LS only benefits LS. Why? Because the vast majority of Americans know nothing about the allegations and they obviously aren’t hurting them in the polls.
If he files a lawsuit, he gives LS exactly what he wants: publicity. LS is obviously a lonely man with a lot of free time who wants people to pay attention to him. That’s why he’s so infuriated that BO won’t even acknowledge him. That’s why he’s gotten bored with the drugs/sex allegations and has moved onto murder. He’s at least gotten the attention of the Chicago PD. Someone’s paying attention to poor Larry!
The problem with caring about the character of our leaders is that there’s a major flaw in our system, that has been made even worse by the rise of 24-hour news. That is, anybody who *should* be president, who would truly bring our country to the right path, would *never* want to deal with being put under the microscope, having no privacy, having to play the game, answer to the party machine, etc. Likewise, anyone who sincerely thinks they should be president shouldn’t be running out country. Their ego is already too huge; do they really care about us? Think about it.
I believe in the good of this country, and that’s why I continue to follow and participate in politics. My problem is with the system, that brings out the worst in everyone. You guys spend so much time focusing on Obama and how scummy and crooked you think he is. Sure, he might be, but I certainly don’t find Hillary or McCain to be any better. They all spew crap on a regular basis. I currently support Obama because his crap sounds better than the other two, and you have to pick someone, right?

If I had had political aspirations, had been in the Illinois Senate, been surrounded with all kinds of
politicians, business people, not to mention suspect personalities and controversial figures, I would have had meticulous records.
Obama is a licensed lawyer, with some of the best
training available. He knows how important records are. Law firms routinely advise their clients to retain records far longer than the mandatory requirements.
If Obama is innocent, he should have records to
substantiate his past activities. Obama has probably not complied with the Illinois FOIA.
Obama has either refused to provide records or has been extremely evasive when asked to provide them.

Whatever she heard would indeed be considered hearsay in a court of law. That is, the fact that Delenn heard someone say that Obama was on the downlow would be inadmissible in court as evidence that Obama is on the downlow.

This got my attention.
However, there are many more aspects of Obama’s life and his judgement that are highly suspect, including strong ties to criminals and corruption.

The problem is that there are laws in place to protect people from getting smeared despite any and all “highly suspect” aspects of their lives. So, while no one is on trial here, the fact that these protective laws exist (defamation, fraud, false lights, slander, libel, etc.) brings all of these allegations under the legal umbrella.
Each of us have seen “highly suspect” aspects of a family member or friend, only to be surprised when our suspicions were all based in our emotions and fears getting the better of us.
How scary life would be if everything that we did would be analyzed, scrutinized and tossed about recklessly by a crowd of people looking for a reason to hurt us. That atmosphere existed in this country in the 1600s during the infamous Salem Witch Trials. Sure, politicians expect that, but you can’t expect the world to pay attention to every conspiracy theory that is presented; especially when a large segment of this country is of the Salem mindset when it comes to Barack Obama. This is a modern Salem Witch Hunt. You’re a smart guy; surely you can see that aspect of it, even in yourself?
I got news for ya: lots of straight men have gay friends and relationships with criminals. That does not make them gay nor criminals. I have gay friends, some of my family members are felons, and I am straight with a clean record. You gotta get out more, I think.
Getting back to the original point: this is all about the law. No one wants to lose their job, go to jail, get bad publicity, or pay big fines by violating the laws protecting peoples’ reputations. The only one who has nothing to lose in all of this is Larry Sinclair.
