Heather Mallick, Sarah Palin, CBC, White Trash, Porn Actress, Redneck, Ratboy, Toronto writer, Alaska, columnist not a journalist, Mallick insults Palin and US, Canada pays salary

Evil and stupid is a bad combination

Heather Mallick has insulted Sarah Palin, John McCain, Alaska
and the US. Just when I thought that the Hollywood types supporting
Obama had the lowest IQ’s (subliminal message Matt Damon) and the
lowest morals, along comes a lower life form that Greta Van Sustern
referred to as a pig last night. I would not insult pigs that way.
I do not believe that Heather Mallick speaks for many canadians. Here
are some exerpts from her column:

“I assume John McCain chose Sarah Palin as his vice-presidential partner in a fit of pique because the Republican money men refused to let him have the stuffed male shirt he really wanted. She added nothing to the ticket that the Republicans didn’t already have sewn up, the white trash vote, the demographic that sullies America’s name inside and outside its borders yet has such a curious appeal for the right.”

“Palin was not a sure choice, not even for the stolidly Republican ladies branch of Citizens for a Tackier America. No, she isn’t even female really. She’s a type, and she comes in male form too.

John Doyle, the cleverest critic in Canada, comes right out and calls Palin an Alaska hillbilly. Damn his eyes, I wish I’d had the wit to come up with it first. It’s safer than “white trash” but I’ll pluck safety out of the nettle danger. Or something.”

“Palin has a toned-down version of the porn actress look favoured by this decade’s woman, the overtreated hair, puffy lips and permanently alarmed expression. Bristol has what is known in Britain as the look of the teen mum, the “pramface.” Husband Todd looks like a roughneck; Track, heading off to Iraq, appears terrified. They claim to be family obsessed while being studiously terrible at parenting. What normal father would want Levi “I’m a ___kin’ redneck” Johnson prodding his daughter?”

Why are the American and canadian elitists attacking Palin. The obvious
answer is that she poses a real threat to their elitist messiah, Obama.
However, the deeper reason is that she is a good, all American, hard
working woman that highlights their inadequacies. Mallick is right
about one thing. Women often attack and resent other women especially
if they appear as good looking. Consider this statement from Mallick:

“But do they not know that women have been trained to resent other women and that they only learn to suppress this by constantly berating themselves and reading columns like this one? I’m a feminist who understands that women can nurse terrible and delicate woman hatred.”

In this case, Sarah Palin is certainly an attractive woman on the
outside, but the real threat to people like Heather Mallick is that
Sarah Palin is beautiful on the inside.

  1. Motherhood – the Ultimate Profession.
Motherhood is a sacred duty assigned to women by our Creator, YHWH. To fail at this duty, is to fail HIM.

    http://hannahruth.wordpress.com/

  2. Having read many “Canadian responses” on blogs, I can assure you that Heather Mallick is the Canadian equivalent of the kool-aid drunken Americans.

Canada will be voting for a Conservative government (possibly majority) this Oct. 14. At a guess, the Canadian Kool-aid crowd
    represents a minority.

  3. BTW, Obama thinks Canada has a President. FYI, Mr. Obama Canada has a Prime Minister and just in case, the Conservative government is equivalent to the Republicans in the U.S.

  4. Heather Mallick is a pig

  5. Simply put, this is why the Democrats will lose this election and all future elections for years to come….not a clue, no sense and no class.

I pity Heather’s mom and dad.

  6. Typical of a Canadian slut (Heather Mallick) to be calling Palin names. Jealousy shows through in so many forms. White trash? – look who’s talking. Pull up your panties and get a life lady.

  7. Heather Mallick , the real problem with you and what you are writing is that you are so far removed from being a real woman you would not know if she came in contact with you.
Sarah Palin, is a real woman the kind that helped make this country what it is today. She is a loving mate and friend to her husband of 20+ years. She is a wonderful mother, who loves life with her family. She is a frontier woman who has improved the state she lives in and is about to help us all improve the country we live in.
I and most other woman find offense with how find fault with this woman because we live honest lives much like she does trying very hard to make this world a better place for our families.
I am sick to death of the media making judgments on the Palin family! I think we need to Vet your loved ones and your lives! You surly won’t vet Mr. Obama! Shame on all of you!

  8. In regard to Heather Mallick,

God deliver us from foul mouthed, frustrated, feminist females who fuss and fume over feminine females who are able to express themselves intelligently and forcefully. I can only assume that Sarah Palin embodies the kind of woman Heather Mallick wished she could have been. Envy can be a vicious thing.

  9. I remember that somewhere in all the discussion about Palin that Bill Clinton did not have a lot of foreign policy experience other than promoting his state’s product abroad. In conjunction with that I assume that the governors of the states that have common boarders with Mexico and Canada interface with those nations on behalf of the state’s economy.

In light of the above I have a suggestion for Sara Palin based on the following:

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said during a meeting today with non-governmental organizations that the United States, instead of “trying to be clever,” must begin discussions with Russia on how to overcome the consequences of the crisis on the US stock market. He said that the problems caused by the U.S. depression had spread to all market economies. The crisis would not have had such serious repercussions, if an agreement had been reached during the G-8 summit in Japan.

Yesterday, Medvedev had said at a reception for new ambassadors to Russia, that Russia and the US can maintain a constructive dialogue despite their differences over some international issues: “Despite a number of significant disagreements on certain international issues, we are convinced that we have what it takes to forge a constructive dialogue on a long-term basis,” Medvedev said. He called ties with the US, one of Russia’s foreign policy priorities; Novosti reported.

“The history of Russian-U.S. relations has seen plenty of imbroglios, but invariably common sense and pragmatism have prevailed.” There are good foundations for relations, based on political dialogue, trade and economic relations, and investment activity. “It would be politically short-sighted to fritter away these achievements and get back to the old stereotypes,” he said.

Well, Sara Palin, as Governor of Alaska, that sounds like an invitation to me.

And it doesn’t appear you would be breaking any laws.

What an opportunity to demonstrate diplomacy over confrontation.

What an opportunity to conduct a trip with real positive implications as opposed to the hot air rock concert in Germany.

What an opportunity to plant the seeds for a joint action on the current crises, co-sponsored by Russia, as a member of the Russia-China-India, Eurasian party and the U.S.A. as the representative of the international Dollar system on which the present world system depends.

And my favorite, what an opportunity to expose, in both parties, those that wear Union Jack panties and are the real obstacles to a sane resolution to this problem.

  10. Sorry for the delay in moderating.
I was on the road all day.

  11. She is beautiful inside and outside.
    Very well said. So true.
When Sarah Palin was on the convention stage with her baby she appeared to me like the 2008 Mother Mary.
If a fairy had come to John Mc Cain and he could have wished for the perfect running mate he could have never described anything as perfect as Sarah Palin.
This is what scares the Obama crowd.
They sense it and have still no answer.
And I don’t mean she is a perfect person, all her family stuff and her country background.
But that makes her the perfect candidate for VP.
Needless to say that offensive attacs are not touching that image.

  12. People like Ms Malick are a queer bunch.

  13. michellelynnweblog

A gay male dressed up in women’s clothing is more better looking than Heather Mallick. Heather is a dog.

Sarah Palin is a breath of fresh air. She is authentic. We all should be worried if – god forbid- Obama becomes our next President. We will be the country of having the blind-leading-the-blind type leader.

  14. Well, she might be getting attacked because she (Palin) has been caught in numerous lies. I doubt you’ll print this, but these lies are already being written about.

How can anyone support such a liar?

  15. Congrats on your success.

  16. you’re out of your mind. she’s a fascist.

  17. preservetherepublic

This is the same country that arrests pastors for hate speech when they speak out against homosexuality. Canada = America 4 to 8 years from now if Obama is elected. http://preservetherepublic.wordpress.com

  18. the liberal news media like the CBC seem to always hate conservative persons with better moral values than they have it seems.. it must be the devil in them speaking out..

CBC managers are far from Perfect as even I know that.. I had witnessed them cheating, lying , stealing, falsifying their budget expenditures and had rightfully reported them to all.. and many next rightfully got laid off as a result too.

    http://anyonecare.wordpress.com/2008/08/30/sarah-palin-already-has-energized-conservative-religious-leaders/

  19. annemprice.
    Aren’t you a little confused?
Obama is the documented consistent liar.
Palin is the one telling the truth.
Obama example: Obama downplayed his involvement with Rezko and lied about the level of contact. In court testimony, FBI mole John Thomas testified that Obama was a frequent visitor at rezko’s office.
Now, you have made a claim about Palin.
    Provide a documented specific.

  20. Obama is a pathological liar.

  21. heather just tells it like it is

  22. Heather tells it like it is in her sick, twisted mind.

  23. http://smartgirlpolitics.blogspot.com/2008/09/while-our-heads-are-buried-in.htm

A brewing story that should worry everyone if Obama is elected.

  24. Maggie Whiteside

With respect to Heather Mallick’s blog comment, I found her use of rhetoric sarcasm humourous despite her use of coarse terminology. Americans are quite fond of their constitutional right to freedom of speech, and their right to manifest destiny; but should anyone, who is not an American, speak out in what they perceive as a slight, god forbid. I found the Fox anchor woman, Greta Van Susteren, immensely rude when she shouted and continued to interrupt the journalist from the Ottawa Citizen. If one is to argue a point they disagree with, it should be dealt with where emotions are held in check; and certainly good manners entail allowing the other person to complete their sentence or explanation before providing your own rebuttal. Ms Van Susteren’s manners were certainly lacking, and perhaps from her behaviour on national television and other news sources, together with the ensuing negative commentary from the American public; that the general Canadian population might agree with Ms Mallick that Americans, in general, are “white trash” right along with Mrs. Palin.

  25. If you think that Sarah Palin and Megyn Kelly have an ounce of decency within them, you are sadly mistaken.

    http://www.abstractionreaction.com

  26. Many Canadians are repulsed that Mallick as a CBC writer has descended to gutter level journalism. She insults professional canadian journalism.
She reveals how stupid many fellow Canadians are thinking that is freedom of speech that Americans don’t have!!! These morons obviously don’t know what professional standards mean.
Also its funny to see these particular Canadians support the CBC…
CBC are all staffed by whites and they never have ANY visible minorities on their airwaves unless like typical Canadian mainstream media it has someting to do with sports or gang crime discussion -you’ll faint in disbelief if you ever saw a non-white person invited to talk about politics on the air. These Canadians obviously don’t watch US TV and see how minorities are represented equally on the air, in advertising, and in politics.
Canada has ‘Silent Racism’ -it’s there…..

  27. Maggie Whiteside.
Questions of a lack of moral compass and intent arise when people come to the defense of comments made by the likes of Heather Mallick.
Heather Mallick followed the Brownshirt like tactics of personal attacks and provided no substance in regard to important issues.
Obama and his thugs are well versed in the tactics of Saul Alinsky and follow the playbook of Obama’s cousin, Raila Odinga.

  28. Coco McBean.
Do you have a basis that enables you to recognize decency?

  29. I know this probally will not make it up on your site but i think that was a well written article that had some good points. I know that alot of people like Sarah Palin as more than just a politican but a role model but you must see that she is only being used as a politcal pawn to pander to certain groups of voters. This is just another sign of politics as usual. And if Hillary Clinton was still in the race do you think that Sarah Palin would be VP.

  30. Although I do not agree with your comment, Riel, it has substance. Heather Mallick’s article is just another Obama camp example of personal attacks, and that loses credibility for Obama and his supporters.

  31. Citizenwells writes:
“Heather Mallick followed the Brownshirt like tactics of personal attacks and provided no substance in regard to important issues.”

She is a columnist! She is supposed to be writing pithy insults and such. There are other people around dealing with the “important issues”. Her role is to get people talking, point out the hypocrisy of the powerful and make people laugh with her mean barbs.

I mean “Sarah Palin is beautiful on the inside” ?!? Really? Say what you want about her politics and how she’ll do as VP but a quick glance at her history screams that she is not a nice person. I’m not necessarily saying that is bad for her job, but anyone who has gotten to where she is in Alaskan politics is obviously a hard-nosed sob.

  32. Will.
A well educated, articulate columnist would not resort to middle school insults.

  33. clinging to my guns in PA

How does this person think she is adding anything worthwhile to the debate, I think it shows a genuine lack of intelligence, or shes just a nutjob.

  34. The problem with Ms. Mallick is that she and her types think that they are smarter and better than me and my types. She needs to grow up. And Hey, I have a masters degree too, eh?

  35. Am I missing something? Where are the middle school insults? Where does Mallick actually bust out these insults everyone is so upset about?
She calls her “white trash” but then qualifies it to mean: “rural, loud, proudly unlettered (like Bush himself), suspicious of the urban, frankly disbelieving of the foreign, and a fan of the American cliché of authenticity”
That definition isn’t something I remember hearing in the playground. She alludes to a porn star actress look — pouty lips and what not but does not suggest she IS a porn star. And it’s the pre-sex part of the porn actress look.
Anyways. I guess I’m missing something here. Feel free to point it out. And again — what’s with the use of the term “elitist”? Is it your term for liberals? Sort of how Mallick refers to the Republican base as white trash? This attempt to create an us vs them division in a society that is incredibly complex and multilayered?

  36. Mallic’s comments are solely based on gender. Pure Chauvinism!

  37. Sarah Palin is not a baby-killer like Michele Obama and most USA Democrats.Sarah is a refreshing white woman from Alaska who is faced with the violent backers of Barak Huessein Obama, the 3 name Muslim running for President.Heather Mallick is a disgrace to Canadian American relations.

  38. I’m glad to see that many Canadians oppose the statements of Heather Mallick. The thing that saddens me most is how we (Americans, Canadians, everyone) do not seem to be able to respectfully disagree with each other. It should not have to end up with such personal, hateful attacks just because we may share different political views.

  39. How embarrassing it must be for CBC.ca and others that this this transvestite Heather (or Heathcliff) Mallick writes where more than one person can read her words. I find her filth to be below trailer trash of ANY nation. Such words usually only come out of gutter folks or nasty rappers. But then, I used to have a great opinion of many Canadians, not all, but a few – just the same as many Canadians feel about Americans. Even Maurene Dowd and Ann Coulture look better now!

  40. It’s funny how her words have touched a chord in many of us. Regardless of where you are coming from on the political spectrum, Heather Mallick’s article stirs emotions and has us all talking. If that isn’t the role of an “Analysis and Viewpoint” journalist, then I don’t know what is. She isn’t reporting the news, she’s commenting on it. Just like Fox News did when they offered their commentary on the subject. They didn’t unbiasedly report the offensive article, they commented on it and that was their right. Just like it was Mallick’s right to publish her views and thoughts. And for those who suggest that her comments on Sarah Palin were founded in sexism I ask: If Heather Mallick were a man, would you be commenting on how she looks and on her sexual preferences etc?

    http://www.abstractionreaction.com

  41. An afterthought: Those of you that think the CBC is offended or embarrassed about the recent attention know nothing about the subject. You are confusing the lack of censorship and the freedom of expression with left-wing liberalism. Just because news agencies in the U.S. have political affiliations doesn’t mean that that’s how it works in the rest of the world, which is big.

  42. I do not criticize Heather Mallick for evaluating or commenting on Palin. I do question her methodology. She should have limited her article to scrutinizing Palin’s performance and policies and not used low life personal attacks. Mallick was trying to curry favor with the core of Obama’s support that revels in foul language and personal attacks because it does not require a command of issues and facts..

  43. But Citizen, Mallick is making the connection between Palin own personal life and the policies she professes to support. No sexual education in school. That sort of education should be done in the home. And what happens? Her own kid gets knocked up. And then, THEN, she has her daughter marry this dimwad at the ripe old age of 17.
Mallick is scrutinizing her performance and policies.
Besides dissing her voice and saying she dresses boxy where are these terrible insults. Most of the article questions Republican policies and why the people that support Republicans vote against their own self interest (see tax cuts for ultra-rich).
I also love your stereotyping of Obama supporters as being people who revel in foul language and personal attacks b/c it does not require command of issues (I’d love to see you back that up — oh wait, is it okay for you to say over the top stuff? my bad) . Let’s remember, the more education you have, the more likely you are to vote Obama…

  44. Will.
Once again I am reporting what I see and hear.
The typical Obama supporter is not well educated and substitutes foul language and personal attacks for substance.
By the way, I am very well educated and have taught at the college level.
Having college classes or a degree does not guarentee that one is educated. Some of these hard working people, that are mocked and looked down upon, are educated in their own right and are reminiscent of the people who fought and died during the American Revolution.
    End of this story.
    Question for you:
Where was Obama on Nov 6- 7, 1999?

  45. I was willing to really consider the claims made on this site regarding Obama until I came across this post. This movement is rooted in bias, and nothing else.

For all the dirt digging you do on Obama, why are you not doing the same for McCain and Palin? Palin practices and supports aerial hunting in Alaska, takes money from the Alaskan people to be in her own house, has inquired about banning books and believes rapists should be able to pick the mother of their child. This is why people don’t like her. This does not seem quite as immoral and uneducated as you’d like it to be.

As for McCain, he took Keating’s jet to the Bahamas for how many years in exchange for keeping a blindfold on Reagan? He hangs out on yachts with con men and has a long, dirty past of deregulation as favor. It’s exactly why he won’t say now whether he supports the bailout.

Why are you not covering these things as well? You are not interested in truth. You are interested in your own agenda. It’s too bad. Expose all corruption, not just the kind that supports your opinion. Do this, and then I will subscribe to your blog, which is otherwise very well done.

  46. Straight from the hip….
I am not pleased with party politics in this country, democrat or republican.
I have spent countless hours researching Obama, his past and his associations.
Obama and the Obama camp, scare the hell out of me, out of concern for this country.
I have never seen anything close to this in this country in my lifetime.
McCain, though not perfect, resembles a choir boy next to Obama.
I mean this with the utmost sincerity, concern and basis in fact.
    Thanks.

  47. Excellent question posed to Will, Mr. Wells.

An open letter to Hubert T. Lacroix
President of the Canadian Braodcasting Corporation

    Dear Sir;
As a long time and sometimes vocal supporter of the CBC in its past problems with the CRTC, ( http://www.crtc.gc.ca/Eng/transcripts/1999/tb0316a.htm ) and a Canadian living in the USA; I find Heather Mallick’s rant “Mighty wind blows through Republican Convention” (attached below) offensive and worse that tabloid gibberish. I find it inconceivable that the editorial standards of the once proud Canadian Broadcasting Corporation declined below that of the National Inquirer. In fact I would challenge you to read any Inquirer story in contradistinction to Ms Mallick’s sub-tabloid journalistic style; The Inquirer story would quote sources of information, use correct English and never stoop to profane language or the F___ word. Mallick only quotes two sources of minor relevance and begins her rant with the greatest journalistic faux pas “I assume”.

Does this mean that Ms Mallick made an assumption on Senator McCain’s reasons for choosing Governor Palin and that the rest of the information was gathered personally using the time tested journalistic creed of who what where when and why?

Ms Mallick seems quite well versed in the sexual inadequacies of Republican men; has she been, unbeknownst to the Canadian public, a latter day Mata Hari in the employ of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) bedding republican men for pillow talk secrets? Does this also mean that Ms Mallick has spied on the alleged secret meetings and had extensive hands on experience regarding their irresponsibility with semen while postponing household repairs?

Ms Mallick’s admitted feminist stance has to leave one wondering where she and alleged other women receive their so called resentment training for nursing terrible hatred towards each other? From the amount of testosterone (even promoting firearm violence towards Levi Johnson) flowing through her vitriolic attack on governor Palin, saying she really isn’t female, can the question be asked; Does Ms Mallick have a severe case of Vagina envy?

Ms Mallick must surely be a legend in her own mind to believe that these alleged other women can suppress the learned same sex hatred through self flagellation and reading her trashy column.

Ms Mallick allows that “(john) Doyle’s job includes watching a lot of reality television”. Does this mean her statement “(governor) Palin has a toned-down version of the porn actress look favored by this decade’s woman” comes from extensive first hand experience of watching films of that genre?

From attacks on Governor Palin’s personal appearance and of her family, not once has Ms Mallick discussed the genuine pros or cons of the Republican Vice-presidential nominee vs. the Democratic nominee. Nor has she done any journalistic exposé regarding George Soros’ financial manipulation of the Democratic nomination process that stole the nomination from Hillary Clinton.

Boiled down to its essence Ms Mallick’s column is pure and simple hatred; hate mongering towards the Palin family, hatred for people she identifies as white trash, who she and Thomas Frank allow “vote Republican on social issues to give themselves the only self-esteem available to their broken, economically abused existence.” It is elitist and condescending like a later day Marie Antoinette with Cake or Death; devoid of factual journalism.

Considering Canada has well honed anti Hate statutes, why has Ms Mallick not been summarily guillotined from her Canadian Taxpayer subsidized position with the CBC? Perhaps there is tacit agreement within the Marxist feminist hierarchy to which she reports as to her journalistic bent. Where is Mammy Yokum “good is better than evil because it’s nicer” when you need her to wash Ms Mallick’s mouth out with homemade lye soap or deliver a “Goodnight Irene Punch” to restore decency and integrity to the CBC, as you are not holding Ms Mallick to the same litmus test that you publicize for outside contributors. 49. Ms Mallick is not liked by anyone in Canada. She constantly insults everyone without any idea of what she talks about. She once wrote a horrible piece insulting people immigrating to Canada from the standpoint of Canada is a crappy place to go to. She insults Alberta and Calgary without probably only flown over.

Please people…I would not look at her as Canadian but rather a troubled, ignorate, poor excuse for a writer than could not even get an obituary right I suspect. THE MAJORITY OF CANADIANS LOVE OUR NEIGHBOURS!!!!

GOD BLESS CANADA AND THE USA

  50. Thanks Kevin.
    God bless us all.

  51. Thank you for these last two beautiful letters. I was losing hope. To Desmond McGrath, I also am a Newfoundlander living in San Diego and it hurts to read about how anti-American Canada has become. I would love to know why there is such resentment. Any thoughts on that?

  52. This has given Mallick a lot of attention. I had no idea who she was before all this. It’ll only help her. Maybe she’s smarter than we think.

    http://www.abstractionreaction.com

  53. “Not One of Canada’s Finest Moments”
This is regarding CBC Heather Mallick’s totally unprovoked and vicious attack on Republican Vice-Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin. Will the taxpayer-funded CBC (whose political views should be neutral, not to the left of Carl Marx) please do all Canadians a favour and quickly fire Heather Mallick? She is a national disgrace! In addition, could the CBC just confine its political views to Canada? Especially during sensitive times like elections? In addition, can the taxpayer-funded CBC just grow up and cease being a national disgrace itself? Does Canada even need a taxpayer-funded CBC anymore? I have a home in the USA and live there several months each year, hopefully in peace with my good American neighbours. Even if I never went south, it is still embarrassing. Americans already think poorly enough of Canadians as it is. Irresponsible people like Heather Mallick are one very good reason why.

  54. Hi!

Mallick’s diatribe directed at Palin, is exactly the same as thousands from the right blogosphere directed at whomever they decide to attack.

It’s politics, and if any right-wing blogs object, they should “treat how they want to be treated” and tone down their own attacks.

The followers of Republican leadership ARE

  55. like lambs led to the slaughter. Republican leadership’s (and to a lessor extent the Democratic leadership) main goal is how to transfer ever-more money and resources from the everyday working man to the elite.

YOUR chance of striking it rich in America today is almost as small as winning the lottery. For those of you like me, a regular guy, the Democrats are a better option.

    cliff
    YIP
PS-I am not a Democrat, just an American.

  56. Heather Mallick is not alone in her views. Here for example, is The Sunday Times in London (a conservative paper under the same ownership as Fox News and no connection to the New York Times). The Sunday Times calls Sarah Palin a: “mid-market call girl”. You’ll find views like that in every country, in every paper.

Basically, most of the world agree with Heather Mallick on almost all the points in her post.

    From the Sunday Times:

    http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/comment/columnists/rod_liddle/article4882326.ece

“Sarah Palin, the Alaskan-separatist-pig-in-lipstick, had not the slightest intention of allowing her complete lack of knowledge about almost everything to spoil her debate with the Democrat vice-presidential candidate, Joe Biden. “I may not answer the questions in the way in which the moderators or you want to hear, but I am going to talk straight to the American people and let them know my track record,” she said, straight-faced, her make-up not cracking. And so, by employing the clever strategy of not answering anything properly, and then winking in the manner of a mid-market call girl, she emerged a sort of victor. Despite revealing the intellect and political experience of a whelk. A heartbeat away, remember.”

  57. citizenwells

I defy one of the cowards to say it in front of me.

  58. Sarah Palin is an international laughing-stock. She is ridiculed everywhere, without end. There is no scorn too great that it couldn’t be heaped on her.

And particularly, Sarah Palin is seen as a symbol of the decline of morality in America. Pathological lying just doesn’t look good, especially for people who claim to be Christian. For those people, there is no circumstance under which lies are acceptable. Doesn’t Sarah Palin know who the ‘father of lies’ is?

  59. Father of all lies…..you mean Obama?
The international community does not have a good track record.

  60. I guess James you haven’t heard yet that the Obama camp is reknowned for its persistent projections.

In fact I understand that this is part of your training as a supporter. Identify a quality that you most want to conceal about your candidate and accuse the other of same, preempting an identical counterattack.

Much like the spouse who unjustly accuses the other of having an affair, all the while maintaining one. You get the picture (or is that too much to hope).

  61. This lady clearly goes to far in her article and I absolutely believe that plenty of Canadians dislike her anyway but I agree with James Long. Palin has made the country look ridiculus abroad. She is a gimic pic and circus sideshow and for good reason. The VP debate had 70 million veiwers and the majority of them were either hoping that she would completely implode or desperately hoping she wouldn’t. She is utterly full of BS and is a master of talking her way around a question and making people forget about by looking cute or feisty.
BTW – Citizenwells, a real toughguy.

  62. Who wrote Dreams From My Father? Not Obama but William Ayers?

We are about to see a socialist puppet elected president.

  63. Literally speaking, there’s nothing wrong with socialism. It would be far better than the fascist dynasty you’ve been electing recently. With Bushes and McCains all you have are right-wing puppets controlled by dirty corporations.
