Citizen Wells listened to Rick Jackson and Bill White discuss the dismissal of Jeff Katz and replacement
with Tara Servatious. They stated it was a marketing decision that had been in the works for a while.
Citizen Wells got through and stated that Jeff Katz was the lone voice in the area telling the truth.
Wells mentioned that the “squeaky wheel gets the grease” and that there is a silent majority out there
there will provide a backlash. After a brief statement, Citizen Wells was cut off.
This blog will be digging a little deeper, but right now it appears that Jeff Katz was let go for
questioning the “messiah”, Obama. This is part of a disturbing trend occurring nationwide. The MSM
has utterly failed the American people. If it is confirmed that Katz was let go for questioning Obama,
WBT radio will join the Charlotte Observer in a rapid downward spiral to join the dinosaurs.

The politically correct weenies at WBT have groveled to the radical liberal left. Rush Limbaugh and Jeff Katz were the only hosts who tell it like it is without all the p/c crap. I will still listen to Rush, but not on WBT and to Katz as soon as his new show begins. And, it will begin.

WBT Has lost many listeners with the firing of Jeff Katz…this former listener included. No disrespect, but his replacement, MISS TARA, has a lisp that drives me and my wife NUTS!!!

In the meantime, isn’t it wordpress that has a special blogging system (opportunity) newly in place for displaced joiurnalists? Maybe Jeff can benefit from that.

Death of AM Radio in Charlotte?
I nearly quit listening to WBT about 6 weeks ago due to Larson’s incessant belittling of Elizabeth Dole – one of the few Senators who tried to reign in Fanny and Freddy. With the new “PC” Boston ownership and timid local management “caving” to the coming Fairness Doctrine, I am finally going to turn off WBT. Like Jayleen, I will listen to Rush elsewhere, and have time for Hannity as well. Too bad Tara is now in the hot seat and next on the chopping block. As a sleep-deprived pawn in all this, she could not refuse the offer. WBT just jumped the shark with this move.

I will continue to gather more facts regarding the Jeff Katz dismissal.
However, long term I am planning on several projects.
1. I hope to write a book in a few months about the election, Obama, MSM and all of my experiences.
2. I plan to continue writing and may form a new news organization and/or voting block.
3. I have filled in and been on several blog radio shows. People have been urging me to have my own show. I may do so. This will take some time to ponder and plan.
My main objective this year is to keep writing and exposing the truth about Obama and his non eligibility.

Why is the media silent on the Obama birth certificate question?
Keith Wright // December 2, 2008 at 9:01 pm
Jeff Katz, like Jason Lewis before him, ask questions and addressed issues that I found not only interesting but necessary. The mainstream media, whom I trusted for more years than I care to mention, no longer brings the news, they make the news. Jeff had a curiosity about Obama that I, and many others, have. Who is he really? Why is his birth certificate sealed? Why is his college admission papers sealed? What is there to hide? When it comes to other subjects, like illegal immigration he simply refused to call it “undocumented immigrants”. The operative word is, and always will be, ILLEGAL. What is wrong in asking the hard questions?

I completely agree with you Jayleen. Jeff and Rush are true conservatives who say it like it is. What happened to Freedom of Speech. I guess it only applies if you are a liberal. Who’s butt is WBT kissing by making this decision.

I am so ashamed of our news organizations and our country’s path in general.
I will not watch or listen to Obama for the next 4 years if he gets in after refusing to settle the question about his citizenship. That he thinks he has the character to be a president is a cruel joke on us.
Berg’s lawsuit is a lawsuit of the people. God help our country through this crisis

What city was Katz in? I think I heard him in SF once.

Citizen,
read the last sentence of the article in the Charlotte Observer. I would cut and paste but I am not sure of copyright issues. Here is the link:

Your blog is insightful, sensible and not “over the top” with all kinds of consiracy theories. You seem to take a calm and level headed approach to either prove or debunk any claims being made about an issue. I think you should consider the book idea or establish another outlet for reasonable people to find news that the lazy, liberal MSM is too biased to research.

I will miss Jeff Katz, I wish him and his family a Merry Christmas and hope he finds a station that will appreciate him . Thank you for your work, Citizen. Please keep all of us informed as to what is happening.

I will not miss him. He was an embarrasment. Condescending… typical nit-picking alarmist, who made a big deal out of anything a non-conservative politician did. It is sad that people rely on him and Rush for news. Please remember that they make a lot of money by researching topics with an extreme amount of bias. I get a kick out the ultra right calling NPR “ultra liberal”, because they actaully consider multiple sides/positions of important issues. One other thing. All you Sarah Palin Supporters: Please read the transcript of the prank call from the Canadian DJ’s and explain to me how she could not figure that out. She fell for it big time. I think a 1o yr old could have figured that one out, yet the ultra right is so blind that they support her anyway. It is painfully obvious that she is not that bright. I voted for Bush twice, but enough is enough.

It is frightening that WBT fired Jeff Katz. He was a much needed voice crying in the wilderness of the mainstream media’s left leaning bias. I will not be listening to WBT anymore…except to catch Rush. How long will it be before you pull his show?
kathy // April 14, 2009 at 12:33 pm
Can’t listen to Tara….she can’t ’shake it up’ like Katz. WBT needs to put her back on the late time slot to help me go to sleep. Yawn….
