Yesterday, the Citizen Wells blog reported on a statement made
by Senator Richard Shelby of Alabama and reported by a Cullman,
Alabama newspaper.
““Another local resident asked Shelby if there was any truth to a
rumor that appeared during the presidential campaign concerning
Obama’s U.S. citizenship, or lack thereof.
“Well his father was Kenyan and they said he was born in Hawaii,
but I haven’t seen any birth certificate,” Shelby said. “You have
to be born in America to be president.”
According to the Associated Press, state officials in Hawaii checked
health department records during the campaign and determined there
was no doubt Obama was born in Hawaii.”
The Huffington Post and Politico reported on this statement and
and immediately played the Obama Camp spin to discredit doubts
raised about Obama’s eligibility.
Ben Smith of Politico.com is now reporting that a spokesman for
Shelby has denied that he questioned Obama’s eligibility and that
the Cullman newspaper is sticking with their story.
“Cullman Times editor Derek Price emails that his reporter,
Patrick McCreless, affirmed to him that “we reported Shelby’s
comments on Obama’s birth certificate accurately and completely.
“We stand by our story,” Price wrote.”
It is clear what the position of Politico and Huffington Post
is. They are clearly pro Obama.

“Thank you for taking the time to contact me about President-elect
Barack Obama’s citizenship status. I always appreciate hearing from
my constituents.
Under the United States Constitution, Section 1 of Article II
contains a clause that states:
“No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the
United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution,
shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any
Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to
the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident
within the United States.”
Many have contacted me regarding the numerous claims and lawsuits
circulating on the internet asserting that Obama is not a natural born
citizen and therefore ineligible to become United States President.
However, President-elect Obama has presented his birth certificate,
showing that he was born in Hawaii, and it has been verified and
confirmed by Hawaiian officials. Additionally, the Supreme Court has
declined to act on any of the cases contesting Obama’s citizenship.
On January 8, 2009, Members of Congress were given the opportunity to
contest the issue in a joint session of Congress, but no such
obj ectlon was ralsed during the meeting. By-all accounts,
President-elect Barack Obama meets those requirements. Please be
assured that I will continue to monitor the situation should further
issues arise.

Senator Shelby, double speak is destroying America. A true American can have no confidence in any part of the Federal Government, when you cannot repeat a statement twice without changing it. We the people expected truth and honesty from our Senators and Representatives, there are millions of us that ask that you take a stand and prevent a Usurper take over OUR white house and all of you have aided and abetted in this taking place. We the people shall not fail in saving our Constitution and its laws that protect America and the people therein. We will not stand by, while the lot of you try to change our Constitution. Each office holder will feel the wrath of the voters starting in 2010. Each of you have the choice of standing with us and demanding the Documentation that Obama refuses to release to prove he is a NBC or ignore us and disgracefully be removed from office for refusing to uphold your oath to uphold our Constitution. This issue is getting out again, finally. It’s legit, in my opinion. They are trying to make Shelby out to be a crackpot, but Berg, Andy Martin, Keyes and others should stand up and get interviews in the media as well to tell people their real concerns about Obama’s citizenship. There are tons of lawsuits against Obama on this. The public should know about them. Why does Obama have all his personal records sealed? Why can’t the public look at his college application records, his medical files, his original birth certificate? What is Obama hiding? He asked all his opponents to release their files. They did, but the press never reported that he didn’t release a lot of his files. Did he come to college as a foreign student? Did he go to Pakistan on an Indonesian passport? Why is Obama spending tons of money and hiring lawyers to hide his records unless he has something to hide in his past. What is it?

Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice…Barack Obama and the Democrats’ promises to make pending legislation has not only been “non-transparent”, transparency has come to equal an outright LIE in this administration. Obama’s just announced his “fiscal responsibility summit” where he’s going to gut our military and place enormous chains on businesses via tax raises.
Now, Congress is ready to push through another giant spending bill. This colossal bill encompasses the remaining nine appropriations bills for fiscal year 2009 sloughed off by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.). They held off on this one so Porkulus could get through; they thought it wouldn’t go down too well at the same time as the spending bill. Although Pelosi and the gang have promised to give adequate time to review this one, they haven’t released the text yet. Dejavu all over again. As was the case with Porkulus, Democrats appear determined to keep this massive spending bill under wraps, too, so the American people won’t know what’s in it, and Republicans will not have time to read what has historically been a bill literally thousands of pages in length.
House and Senate Democrat apparatchiki appear unconcerned with voting on bills that their Dear Leaders have not allowed them time to read. Republicans are, however, troubled by this tyrannical behavior, as they have not even been consulted, much less informed, of the floor schedule for the omnibus bill, nor have they been told when they may be allowed to see the thousands of pages contained in these nine remaining spending bills.
House minority leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) called upon Pelosi Thursday to release the voluminous spending bill online without delay, saying:
“If Democratic leaders plan to schedule a vote on the half-trillion dollar omnibus spending bill next week, they should post the legislation online immediately so the American people have adequate time to read the measure and understand what is in it. My colleagues in the Republican leadership and I made this request two weeks ago, and to date, our request has gone unanswered. Time is running short, and American taxpayers deserve to know how their hard-earned tax dollars will be used under this legislation.”
Rep. Mike Pence (R-Ind.), the House Republican Conference chairman, joined Boehner in asking again, apparently in vain, for an OPEN process from the secretive Democrat leadership this time around. Pence protested:
“More than two weeks ago, House Republicans called on Speaker Pelosi to post online the text of the upcoming half-trillion dollar ‘omnibus’ spending bill, bringing it out of the shadows and before the American people. So far, that call has gone unanswered. Democrats continue to spend the people’s money in secret. I renew my call for Speaker Pelosi and Chairman Obey to immediately post the text of this bill online, and allow the American people an opportunity to see how their tax dollars are being spent. As we recently learned, legislation negotiated in secret produces bad public policy. This can be avoided. We need to reopen the appropriations process to the American public.”
You know the drill. It’s time AGAIN to contact your Congressmen and leaders of the Democrat Party. Click the link to easily find and contact them. Tell them you DEMAND the transparency Obama lied about, and that we reject with protest the escalating disenfranchisement of the American people. Crash their email servers and fill up the voicemail boxes. Do it today…this is CERTAIN to be a replay of the Porkulus push-through before anyone in Congress had a chance to read it. Keith Oberlin had firey passioniate piece about shelbys comments, but if he really truly did real journalism he would have said On jan 16 th george bush signed exe order of reivestigating people of public trust! Chris Matthews and Keith Olberman both covered Shelby’s comments on their shows Monday night. Their angle was basically to discredit the elibility story and Shelby for even suggesting that there could be an issue . These senators and representatives know all about this issue, but they are scared to say anything. You can see the backlash they would receive by listening to Matthews and Olberman. Tony Blankley was on Matthews show and did not want to touch the story and did nothing to defend Shelby. The video of Olberman talking about this is on the msnbc website. At this point, I think any coverage of this issue is a good thing. Even though it is biased, it will get people thinking and talking about it and some people will see the light.

If Greta asked the right questions then I’m sure Sarah would answer them….you can’t blame it on Palin…she doesn’t have control of the interview. I think Greta has formed some kind of bond with Palin after the press tried to make her appear like a moron in order to get Obama elected. John Zeigler is going around setting the record straight about the media malpractice that went on and continues to go on as far as Palin is concerned! The Liberals are so threatened by her that they will stop at nothing to destroy her and her family. Again….that is the interview Greta wants. She did go to Palin’s office and interview her there right after the election. I’m not so sure Sarah is even interested in running for POTUS. I don’t agree with your opinion which is what it is. Palin is still a good person and a great American! She is a wonderful leader with the principals necessary to turn a nation around if given the chance and this is something she would choose to do. I agree with Margie’s opinion: drugs and alcohol. Americans have allowed themselves to become stupefied into stupidity. I tired of reading articles asking to see obama’s birth certificate. He’s already shown us what his people swear is his birth certificate. What you guys are missing is that obama thinks he has out-smarted us. He’s hidden the truth in plain sight and some of you can’t see it because you’re not seeing the obvious. He’s set things up so that he cannot be convicted of deceiving the public. He told us the truth about himself and his eligibility on “Fight the smears”. His father was African, therefore Obama cannot be a NBC. Mystery solved. We need to stop asking to see sealed documents and start demanding his removal from office based on the documents we’ve already seen. The proof you’re looking for is right in front of your face.

Except, Michael, everyone deserves to know his history since he is president. Yes, I know what the website said. All of us do know this. Yet it’s not just his BC, the long-form one, it’s all of his records. Actually I don’t care if I personally “see” them, but I think there should be a group of people who can testify in honesty what they truly see and be held accountable for it. More than one witness is needed to see this.

And I want to say something now. There is a provision in the Torah (1st five books) that if a man has relations with a young maiden who is NOT betrothed and has sexual relations, then what does he do? Is he put to death? NO! See what it says:
Exo 22:16 And when a man lures a virgin who is not betrothed, and lies with her, paying he shall pay her dowry for a wife to himself.
Exo 22:17 If her father absolutely refuses to give her to him, he shall weigh money according to the dowry of virgins.
Also compare in Deut. for a second witness to this:
Deu 22:28 If a man finds a virgin girl, not being betrothed, and seizes her and lies with her, and they be found;
Deu 22:29 then the man lying with her shall give to the girl’s father fifty pieces of silver, and she shall be his wife, because he has humbled her. He may not put her away all his days.
If you’ll read in Exodus the other verses that I posted, then also in Lev. 18, you’ll see that the worse the sin, the more serious the penalty, for example:
Exo 22:19 Anyone lying with an animal, dying he shall die.
Lots of people think the Torah has mean things, but that is far from the truth. So why would Yahweh not have a young man and a young maiden put to death for sexual relations before marriage? Simply because they can get married. He made a provision for this. And you will see that this does not apply to homosexual relations or sexual relations with animals, etc., and various other forms of sexual crimes and misconduct because it clearly says that there’s the death sentence.
Sex before marriage is not the way to go, and that is not what I’m saying. However, there is a way that they can make it and be accepted, and that is, marriage!

“I was inspired by 1LT Easterling’s story and am writing you to inform you that I would like to be added as a plaintiff against Obama as well if you feel it would help your case. I am an Army Reservist who was activated last August and am currently serving with a Military Police Battalion in Camp Bucca, Iraq. I will be here until at least June 2009.”
Orly Taitz, along with her Defend Our Freedom Foundation is working on a series of legal cases seeking to uncover Obama’s birth records and other documents that would reveal whether he meets the requirements of the U.S. Constitution.
“As an active-duty officer in the United States Army, I have grave concerns about the constitutional eligibility of Barack Hussein Obama to hold the office of president of the United States,” wrote Scott Easterling in a “to-whom-it-may-concern” letter.
Taitz says she is hearing from a number of military service members expressing similar sentiments, some saying a military tribunal court martial could be in the offing if the president is found to be a usurper.
“The best thing Obama could do is resign after making a deal with Biden to pardon him. Otherwise, if found guilty, he could face execution,” Taitz said during our phone conversation this afternoon.
Obama is giving aid and comfort to our enemy, committing $900 million in taxpayer money to Hamas with his commitment to “rebuild” Gaza. He has also released a terrorist “detainee”, and wants to close down our facility at Guantanamo. None of this sits well with some high ranking military members and US citizens. Taitz said she’s also getting inquiries from federal employees who are concerned they too may be serving under a usurper.

Christine, please take the other Scriptures in consideration and in context of what they are talking about before this because you must take it into context. In this case, the Scripture is not being rightly divided.
Num 32:20 And Moses said to them, If you will do this thing; if you will arm for battle before Yahweh,
Num 32:21 and all of you will go over Jordan armed before Yahweh, until He has driven His enemies out before Him,
Num 32:22 and the land is subdued before Yahweh, then afterwards you shall return and be guiltless before Yahweh, and before Israel. And this land shall be your possession before Yahweh.
As a matter of fact, read this entire chapter which I’m not going to quote here. That one Scripture is taken out of context for what is going on before it. It’s a story!
Another thing, lots of people don’t really understand the law of compensation. For example, you hear an eye or an eye, a tooth for a tooth, etc., and yet everyone thinks that you’re supposed to lose your eye or tooth. But this same law is used today. What it means is the law of value for value. For example, if two people are in a fight and one accidently puts out his brother’s eye, then you are given a judgment of paying for his livelihood. Like say he uses his eyes for his work, which most people do, then you are required to make a payment for his loss. Same as if you’re in a fight with your neighbor or something, and say he loses his hand and he’s a carpenter, then you compensate him. It doesn’t mean your hand is cut off, or in the other case, the person’s eye is poked out. Yahweh doesn’t work this way.

Have you watched John Ziegler out in the media this week telling the world how she was smeared and that is why Obama won??? He has data and statistics all over the place to back his documentry. I agree with you, Joy. Sarah Palin is not afraid to call a spade – a spade. She had the opportunity to set the record straight in the documentary “Media Malpractice” and she took it. It’s not about “wining.” She is showing that she has the guts to confront the naysayers and Media of Mass Deception head on. She just needed a trusted forum (like the documentary) to do so.

Shelby is backing off and contending that Congress had their opportunity to raise the issue and the Supreme Court refuses to hear the challengers. So we are left with a used car salesman who has deceived the public like he has done in college, running for office. I fear that very soon we will be advised publically that our rights under the Constitution are NOW set aside.Very soon thereafter we will probably see the end of the US dollar, and be issued Ameros. This will be the official money of the United Socialist States of America. We can thank the hat on backwards,baggy pants, pot and drugheads,and otherwise illiterate crowd, whose vocabulary usually consists of two four letter words, and a wide range of “UMS” and “AHHS”. These are the persons who think Obama is our SAVIOR. I wonder if any of that crowd has the intelligence to even comprehend what their lives will be like in a socialist state. I personally think that as long as they have their drugs,alittle garbage to eat,can pick their noses,wear their stupid clothing,and continue their immoral life styles they will think life is GREAT,and Obama is the MESSIAH. It was essentially this crowd who voted him into office. Wait until these dummies don’t get the FREE LIVING that he promised them, and all the other FREE things. They could become a very angry LYNCH MOB.

Isn’t there some citizenship rule about one parent having to have been a citizen of the U.S. for four years AFTER THE AGE OF 14 in order for the U.S.-born child to be qualified to be a natural-born citizen? My understanding is that even if Obama was born in Hawaii (unlikely) that he doesn’t pass the test, which was put in to prevent the very thing he represents – a teenage girl being knocked up by a foreigner and producing a fully-righted citizen of the U.S.
Also, to someone who wrote above, to say that McCain was born in Panama is like saying someone born in Gibraltar was born in Spain or someone born in Vatican City was born in Italy. McCain was born in the U.S. Canal Zone, a territory of the United States and not a part of Panama.
Have we forgot about our seniors who have no dental or glass coverage have we forgot about the NOTCH children who have never recieved the correct amount social security it is almost like the government is waiting on the to die so they want have too many to pay if they ever get what they deserve they started our lives and need to be treated fair not hung out to dry
