Rod Blagojevich trial, Indictment, Obama connection
Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and Fox News have done an excellent job of covering the financial crisis, what got us there and what we must do to fix this mess. They have also done a good job of covering ACORN corruption and ties to Obama. They deserve credit for that. Sean Hannity even said that questioning Obama’s birth certificate was appropriate on his radio show. But no one on TV is covering Obama’s eligibility issues and Beck and O’Reilly have insulted many concerned Americans.
I am not certain, but I thought I detected a change in Glenn Beck’s attitude today. Beck is calling Obama a liar. That is reporting the facts. This blog began referring to Obama as a liar in 2008. Why? Because he is.
No one on TV, including Fox, is covering the Rod Blagojevich indictment in the months leading up to his trial. Why is the indictment important? Because it represents the widespread crime and corruption over the past ten years, it reveals the world that Blagojevich, Obama and Rezko operated in and ties Obama to this corruption. It also reveals the attempts to cover for Obama. Read the Indictment and the Criminal Complaint. It will be immediately apparent that the attempt to sell the old Obama Seante seat is just the tip of the iceberg.

Tony Rezko, who had a deep long term relationship with Obama was indicted on 24 counts and convicted on 16 counts. Rezko is still awaiting sentencing.

Rezko also helped ensure Levine’s reappointment to a state pension board.

May 20, 2005: The governor’s office acknowledges to the Tribune that Rezko has an ongoing eight-year professional relationship with Patricia Blagojevich’s home-based real estate brokerage, River Realty Inc.
Sept 15, 2005: Prominent Democratic fundraiser Joseph Cari and a former lawyer for the state’s teacher’s pension board pleads guilty in an extortion scheme that steered state pension business to favored companies in exchange for campaign contributions to a high-ranking public official described in court documents only as “Public official A.”
Oct. 25, 2005: The Tribune discloses a federal grand jury investigation into the alleged political hiring practices of the Blagojevich administration, including the governor’s top hiring aide, Joseph Cini.

Oct. 27, 2006: Political insider Levine pleads guilty in a scheme to squeeze millions of dollars from firms seeking state business. In court papers, federal authorities spell out allegations that Rezko and another schemer, identified by sources as Blagojevich confidant and top fundraiser Christopher Kelly, were using their influence for corrupt purposes.
Oct. 27, 2006: The Tribune reveals that Blagojevich’s wife, Patricia, earned more than $113,000 in real estate commissions in 2006 through a woman with a no-bid state contract whose banker husband–a major Blagojevich fundraiser–has business pending before state regulators. March 9, 2007: Cook County prosecutors charge the woman, Anita Mahajan, with billing the state for more than $2 million in services her drug-screening firm never performed.

May 23, 2007: The Tribune reveals that federal prosecutors have subpoenaed records from Blagojevich’s campaign fund as part of the sweeping corruption probe into whether top aides and advisers exchanged state business and jobs for political support.
Nov. 4, 2007: A Tribune investigation reveals that influential lobbyist John Wyma, a longtime Blagojevich friend and confidant, bought a $650,000 home from one of his clients that sent real estate commissions of more than $30,000 to the governor’s wife. Oct. 19, 2008: The Tribune reports that more than three quarters of the $700,000 in real estate commissions earned by Patricia Blagojevich’s home-based sales company since 2000 came from state contractors, Blagojevich’s family and others with political ties.
Oct. 23, 2008: The Tribune reports that Wyma, the longtime friend and former congressional chief of staff to Blagojevich, is under investigation by federal authorities, who are probing his lobbying activity for at least one hospital client.
Oct. 30, 2008: Springfield millionaire and longtime political power broker William Cellini, who for four decades played an enormous role in Illinois’ political leadership, is indicted on charges he extorted campaign contributions for Blagojevich.
Dec. 5, 2008: The Tribune reveals that federal authorities have made covert tape recordings of Blagojevich and that Wyma has cooperated with investigators.
Dec. 9, 2008: F.B.I agents arrest Blagojevich and his chief of staff at their homes on a broad array of corruption charges, including asking for favors in exchange for his selection of a replacement in the senate for President-elect Barack Obama.”

Methinks Blagojevich was arrested and indicted to take the heat off of pp. Thus, he’s a fall guy of sorts! Not to say he is not guilty of all sorts of indiscretions…but isn’t his trial sometime in June? Well…that might explain why they are ignoring this guy for now, anyway.
Nationwide, too, we heard little to nothing about Resko…think that was planned as well? I do.
Remember…anything we do hear in the news is merely a distraction from what is really happening. With all of the focus on unemployment and jobs, why are we pushing more spending on health care? Maybe, because creating jobs would require tax breaks, and they are too busy increasing spending so they can pay for what they have already passed.
Maybe, too, Blago should do the talk show circuit and gain some sympathy for his plight. After all, he is entertaining!

However, since the MSM coverage is controlled, there is not much we can do until he goes to trial in June. Even then, it could be trivialized by the media. The trial will go on forever and thus, alienate more of the population…people tire easily. Let’s hope, the trial will bring more info to light. Until then, however, I do not think we will hear much.

brown turncoatBOSTON — A month after being crowned the darling of national conservatives, Republican Sen. Scott Brown of Massachusetts is being branded “Benedict Brown” for siding with Democrats in favor of a jobs bill endorsed by the Obama administration.
Like the four other GOP senators who joined him, the man who won the late Democrat Edward Kennedy’s seat says it’s about jobs, not party politics. And that may be good politics, too.
The four other GOP senators who broke ranks – Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins of Maine, George Voinovich of Ohio and Christopher “Kit” Bond of Missouri – also were criticized on Tuesday. But Brown was the big target on conservative Web sites, talk shows and even the Facebook page his campaign has promoted as an example of his new-media savvy.
“We campaigned for you. We donated to your campaign. And you turned on us like every other RINO,” said one writer, using the initials for “Republican-In-Name-Only.”
The conservative-tilting Drudge Report colored a photo of Brown on its home page in scarlet.
The new senator responded by calling into a Boston radio station.
“I’ve taken three votes,” Brown said with exasperation. “And to say I’ve sold out any particular party or interest group, I think, is certainly unfair.”
The senator said that by the time he seeks re-election in two years, he will have taken thousands of votes.
“So, I think it’s a little premature to say that,” he said.
Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky wasn’t particularly perturbed about Brown’s vote, saying his election last month has “made a huge, positive difference for us and for the whole legislative agenda.”
“We don’t expect our members to be in lockstep on every single issue,” McConnell added.
Political observers said each of the five Republican senators had solid reasons locally for voting as they did, to cut off a potential Republican filibuster on the bill.

Folks, just remember, when the dust settles Scott Brown is NOT the enemy. The Republicans are not our enemy. Sure, we have some RINOs like McCain we need to get rid of but remember this, the Republicans are not trying to subvert our Constitution. The Replublicans are not trying to ram socialism down our throats. The Republicans are not “fire breathing” liberals who want to remake our society into European type nanny states. Cap and Trade, Global Warming, Abortion, Anti-military, Amnesty, ACORN funding, Union payoffs, nationalization of private industry, mortgage bailouts, TARP and Stimilus fraud, repressive taxes, healthcare grabs and welfare programs are all uniquely Democratic Socialists’ programs.
Our sworn enemy are the Democrates, the media who support them, and the system that keeps them in power.
Do not make the mistake of trying to split up the Republican party. To do so would play right into the hands of Obama and the Democrats come 2012. The communists in this country would love nothing more than to have us fighting amongst ourselves and to get Obama relected. Don’t give them the opportunity to recover. We have the Democrats and communists on the run right now. Let’s keep it that way.
Scott Brown will vote against socialism, healthcare, cap and trade and the Democrats in the long run. He is a strong supporter of the Military. That is all we need him to do right now.
Keep the faith. Never let up on the filth and slime that is behind the Democratic Party.

My opinion is that the MSM (or lsm) is not covering Blagojevich because they believe if they don’t cover it, then it’s not happening. If it’s not happening then the public doesn’t need to know about it. After all, the public is stupid and only needs to know what the msm wants them to know.

If there is congestion and lack of parking tell me how eliminating parking will HELP anyone other than maybe those that ride bicycles or walk? Because we know it won;t help businesses by driving their customers away. It won;t help drivers/customers by taking money out of their pockets.

Some still seek Obama birth records
More than a year after Barack Obama became president, Hawaii’s Health Department is still flooded with requests by people on the mainland for copies of his birth certificate, The Honolulu Advertiser reported (honoluluadvertiser.com).
The department gets 40 to 50 requests a month, Health Department spokeswoman Janice Okubo told the Advertiser. “They’ve been misled to believe that the state of Hawaii gives out birth information to anyone who requests it,” Okubo said.
State law allows birth certificates to be issued to family members, legal guardians, representatives of a person’s estate or by court order. Democratic state Sen. Will Espero has introduced bills that would widen access to Hawaii birth records but bar persistent requesters. — Melanie Eversley

One of our must-reads every day is Atlas Shrugs and the wildly entertaining Pamela Geller, who today endorsed Joel Pollak for the 9th Congressional race here in Chicago, where Pollak plans on taking down one of the most vile and corrupt members of the House, Jan Schakowsky (the wife of convicted felon Robert Creamer, who wrote Dr. Utopia’s Healthcare Rationing strategy while in prison for bank fraud and check kiting).
Schakowsky is truly one of the worst human beings we’ve ever met.
She is absolutely vile.
If you think Kennedys feel entitled, you’ve never met the Baroness Schakowsky.
We’ve had several run-ins with her and her staff through the years, most notably during the primaries in 2008 where Schakowsky campaigned for Dr. Utopia in Park Ridge, which is Hillary Clinton’s hometown. That would have been like us going to Indonesia or Kenya to campaign for Hillary. Unseemly.
You know what, no matter what the odds of taking Schakowsky down are, we want it.
Pollack seems like a good guy. We still regret not going all-in for Andy NGF-ski in the primaries for Governor here. We’re going to lead with our hearts on this one, regardless of what the odds are of taking down the Baroness Schakowsky.

Former governor of Alaska and vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin will be in Tulsa next month as part of a concert featuring conservative talk show host Glenn Beck.
It will be Palin’s first official trip to Tulsa. Her most recent high-profile speech was earlier this month in Nashville at the national Tea Party Convention.
The March 13 concert will also include appearances by country musicians John Rich and Gretchen Wilson. Tickets are available now for $45 to $125 plus fees. Author and commentator Dick Morris was originally scheduled to appear, but he will not be able to do so.
About half of the 6,500 seats have already been sold, said Tony Holden, the event’s organizer.

It turns out, of course, that the much vaunted so-called “stimulus” legislation that was supposed to create jobs as it pulled the economy out of the “great recession” isn’t working. Evan Bayh, the now-retiring senator from Indiana, has famously admitted as much, saying, “If I could create one job in the private sector by helping to grow a business, that would be one more than Congress has created in the last six months.”
Surprise, surprise! Government spending doesn’t create jobs, at least not without a war on. This fact has to be especially hard for a Democrat to admit. The official mythology of the Democratic Party rests on the tacit assumption that New Deal government jobs and public works programs pulled America out of the Great Depression. This assumption goes unquestioned among rank-and-file Democrats despite overwhelming evidence that the Depression ended only after the United States geared up for round two of the 20th century’s Great World War. Fortunately, absent some profiteering motive, sane people would agree that that particular remedy comes at too high a price. Robert Higgs makes a good point when he quotes Ludwig von Mises (“War prosperity is like the prosperity that an earthquake or a plague brings.”) in the course of substantiating the point that war creates a demand for more workers by literally shipping large numbers of able-bodied individuals off to the slaughterhouse. Just ask G.I. Joe how Rosie the Riveter came by her first job.
Unfortunately, like the Melanesian people who built their hopes on a classically fallacious post hoc, propter hoc observation, Democratic and RINO Republican voters have been suckered by their political exploiters into building false hopes for prosperity on the observation of the delivery of tax dollars to the party bosses and their cronies. (There are surely some folks in ACORN and other favored elements of the Obama cult who will testify to the return of prosperity in the wake of the stimulus legislation.) Meanwhile, the Obama faction’s Democrats seem willing to imitate only one element of the factual basis for the end of the Great Depression. Their fanatical promotion of abortion (and other practices inimical to human procreation) has proliferated slaughterhouses throughout the land, culling innocent lives that would otherwise have contributed to an expanding work force. The perennial and intensifying financial crisis of the Social Security system is one result.

It sets the stage for lax border-security policies and indolent enforcement of immigration laws on the excuse that the resulting flood of illegal immigrants consists of people willing to do the jobs there aren’t enough American citizens and legal residents to fill. Though stubbornly high unemployment rates put the lie to this excuse, the elite bipartisan push for amnesty for illegals just as stubbornly persists. One can’t be blamed for suspecting that the motive is political rather than economic. It makes sense that an elite intent on restoring oligarchic rule should be stubbornly interested in replacing ornery Americans (who still think the voters ought to be in charge of America’s destiny) with more tractable foreigners accustomed to the politics of elite domination in their native lands.
Real interest in restoring jobs and economic prosperity is also inconsistent with the taxation-induced clampdown on the development and exploitation of readily available energy resource involved in the emissions trading (aka cap-and-trade) pollution-control schemes. Here again the particular genius of the American people seems to be especially targeted. Americans have demonstrated a proven capacity to translate the nation’s available resources into productive enterprises that produce both jobs and a high quality of life. While in other regions of the globe people thirst for economic development in the midst of veritable oceans of economic possibility, the great scope individual liberty gives to human drive and creativity has meant that people from those very regions have come to America and worked economic miracles unheard of in their native lands.
The rising totalitarians of the Obama faction and the RINO fellow travelers openly or tacitly accept the notion that America’s great success is the blameworthy result of oppressing and unfairly exploiting other nations. This is of course why countries most heavily exposed to America’s direct presence and influence, like South Korea, have fared so poorly in comparison to the veritable utopias of socialist regimentation and elite party domination like North Korea. (I’m kidding, of course. The sad ignorance of our day compels me to point that out.) This assumption of blame provides the backdrop for sacrificing the interest of the American people in trade negotiations, schemes of international environmental regulation and lately through the reckless prostitution of America’s good faith and credit to fund profligate and politically motivated government spending financed in ways that threaten to place the economic future of the nation at the mercy of foreign governments and stateless economic interests.
As I argued many months ago in one of the little thoughts posted on my blog, the Obama faction’s spending schemes have mainly been a stimulus toward tyranny. They have had one unintended and potentially beneficial result, however. They have stimulated deep outrage and resistance from Americans unwilling to cap the prospects of their future by giving liberty in trade for elite domination. Such people can hardly wait until November rolls around. Then they will have their say.

My personal opinion why the news is not covering the Blago story is because this is the election year and they want all their people in the right places to get the super highway in from Mexico to Canada. Blago was in the toll road industry big-time. He sold it some of highways in Chicago to the same company that Perry sold the Trans Texas Highway to. They also bought up all the little newspapers along the Texas highway to control the message. This also why we are getting no polling news about the Medina race.

In January the weather was so cold that the bald eagles were cruising over our houses looking for helpless cats to make a quick meal. Some kind souls decided to feed the eagles down at Goose Spit so they would survive the cold spell.
Here’s what happened… A former teaching colleague took these photos in front of his home. They are incredible!

Here are the men who were feeding them, pretty amazing to get this close! It was not too long ago, that the American Bald Eagle was an endangered species.

Isn’t it nice to have some advance warning? Some of the bad storms that we had in Chicago, not as good as the advance warnings of today. You can go to the store and get “provisions” and plan on staying home on the worst day. Have those extra blankets handy just in case of power outages.
I had to drive in one white out once in Chicago, Oh Lord it was terrible-no depth perception at all. No up, down, right, left. Please do not go out in this storm.

This extra fuel may account for the extensive fire damage at the scene. According to STRATFOR analysts present at the scene, it appears that Stack’s plane struck the concrete slab between floors. Had the aircraft not struck the slab head-on, it may have been able to penetrate the building more deeply, and this deeper penetration could have resulted in even more damage and a higher casualty count.
For many years now, STRATFOR has discussed the security vulnerability posed by general aviation and cargo aircraft. Stack’s attack against the IRS building using his private plane provides a vivid reminder of this vulnerability.

Today my husband and I went back to the pet store. I was watching all the little critters and when I got to the rats one was jumping up and had the lid moved over some. It saw me coming and got excited and started working faster to get the lid over enough to get out. When I put the lid back it gave me a look! I think it was mad at me. Yes, you are right they are smart but I just can’t have one as a pet. I went to try and get over my fears of the past. I know you understand why I was doing it! 😦
I do hope you are ok and not letting certain bloggers to run you off.

Kim, I don’t worry about it..I only put away really clean water after cleaning the containers really well…….and 10 drops of bleach makes water drinkable in one hour…..eye dropper and bleach stay in the closet with all the water..I use juice/milk jugs.

I worked for a company in the suburbs of Chicago that was a big parts supplier.
There is a problem I don’t know if this is it in this case but there are those that make parts that look very similar to the real thing, much like knock-off purses, but they may not be heat treated, anodized, alloydized or whatever the engineering specs call for, therefore the part under certain conditions will fail. Also called grey market parts, if this is the case GIAGANTIC deal.

Cantor says House doesn’t have the votes to pass health bill

The office of House Republican Whip Eric Cantor (Va.) said Wednesday that Democrats do not have the votes to pass fixes to their massive healthcare reform overhaul.
Cantor released a memo to the press Wednesday morning in which he said that the Democrats’ new plan to merge the two bills under budget reconciliation rules in the Senate might make it impossible to pass through the House.
The House passed its healthcare bill in November by a count of 220-215. This time around, Cantor predicts that Democrats will muster as few as 203 votes, well short of the 217 now needed to pass the bill due to recent vacancies.
The Virginia Republican said that three new House vacancies, looser abortion provisions contained in the president’s proposal than the original House bill and political risks posed by using the reconciliation tactic will force Democrats who voted for the House bill in November to switch their yes votes to no.

How about in 2012 we run some women and black Conservatives that are not OLD ENOUGH and see if Lieberals and RINOS balk at that.
I remember Teddy Kennedy when he INHERITED his Senate seat was not old enough and had to sit out while they had a place holder until he turned the required age (28 I think). Why is AGE important by the Constitution and it has to be strictly adhered to BUT Natural Born Citizen, which comes first because the Fathers knew it was Most Important, is ignored?

I was listening to the news tonight and they were reporting about the horror story re: the pedophile pediatrician, more than 100 children so far. Unfortunately as the story went on it reminded me of Obama. In more than 20 states doctors like this a merely “passed around” since no one wanted to make waves, upset the practice etc. So due to lies and worse the cover-ups more and more victims are added to the list.
Water seeks its own level, there are those pedophiles, politicians who with contrivance will get themselves into positions where they never should be-part of their equation is willing accomplices and/or co-conspirators. Either no one checks, or if they do it is glossed over-that does not make it right. Many complaints were made over the years, they were ignored too, sound familiar?

An attorney whose legal brief in a case challenging Barack Obama’s eligibility revealed a Supreme Court can remove an ineligible chief executive now has released an analysis confirming that if Obama isn’t eligible, he could be charged under a number of felony statutes.
And that’s just on the federal level; any state charges would be in addition, as would charges against individuals who may have helped him in the commission of any of the acts, according to Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation.
Kreep has been involved in several of the cases that have raised challenges to Obama’s occupancy of the Oval Office, including two in California. One is on appeal in the state court system and names California Secretary of State Debra Bowen as defendant. The other, in the federal court system, is on appeal before the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
Both make claims on behalf of individuals and political candidates in California over Obama’s presence on the 2008 election ballot.

I have been following his work since USJF first became involved in this pursuit. The law is the law. Nobody is above it, not even Soetoro.(Even thought he thinks he is). He cannot continue to make law by XO. This circumvents Congress. It is not hard to see where the US is being taken. If we sit idly by and let him he will turn the US into another France, or UK.
