RUSH: Cheryl, the Upper East Side of Manhattan, great to have you on the EIB Network. Hi.
CALLER: Hi, Rush. It’s an honor to speak with you.
RUSH: Thank you very much. Great to have you with us.
CALLER: Listen, I’m a black conservative, and I just want to make one thing abundantly clear: The media can attempt to paint you any way they want to, but there are no bigger racists in this country than white Democratic liberals. They are and they will forever be the biggest racists in this nation because they seek to determine how black people should think and who black people should support, and the reason for their contempt against Herman Cain is that he has simply said, “I’m an independent thinker. I don’t need to stay on the Democratic plantation in order to succeed.”
RUSH: It really is… Folks, it is no more complicated than that. She’s exactly right, and because of that he represents a great threat to them.
CALLER: But let me give you an example of how Cain would have been treated if he had been a good and docile Negro and stayed on the Democratic plantation.
Jesse Jackson, presently, has pending against him in Cook County court in Illinois a sexual harassment lawsuit filed against him by one Mr. Tommy Bennett, a former male PUSH employee who had sued Jesse Jackson and the push organization for sexual discrimination and Jackson specifically for sexual harassment.
RUSH: Yeah.
CALLER: There has not been one story about this on Politico. Not one.
RUSH: Why do you think that is?
CALLER: Excuse me?
RUSH: Why do you think that is?
CALLER: (chuckles) Please, Rush. As I said, Jesse Jackson has remained on the plantation.
RUSH: Exactly right.
CALLER: So of course he gets special treatment.
CALLER: Yep, that’s exactly right.
RUSH: But I have to make one more point. The other example of how there is a distinct difference in treatment is that during the 2008 campaign, Mr. Obama was accused of a sex and drug-related incident by a man, a Mr. Larry Sinclair. To this day — (static flare)

CALLER: — the press has reported it. Now, it could be well, you know, it’s not substantiated. (static) We don’t have facts. Well, there’s no substantiation. (static)
RUSH: She’s having problem on a cell. But I remember the Larry Sinclair thing, and what I remember about it was that the media told us this guy was an absolute weird nutcase, insane lunatic; should have been in asylum or some such thing. Remember that? That was how the accuser was characterized. I remember that. Larry Sinclair. I’m gonna have to Google the name or have one of my vast array of researchers (ahem) Google the name and remind me who Larry Sinclair was. But I remember that the media set out to destroy this guy.

RUSH: Darn it, we’ve lost her out there! She was on a cell phone calling from the Upper East Side of Manhattan. She’s right — and, by the way, the plantation she’s talking about, the liberal plantation — and there are many black conservatives who, of course, abandoned the liberal black plantation, don’t want any part of it. It’s not just they’ve attacked it because they are considered a threat; it is a form of punishment as well. They go after Herman Cain not just because he represents a threat; he shows other blacks what you can accomplish independently from the Democrat Party and the Jesse Jacksons and all of the prescriptions — liberal affirmative action and all that — but there’s also a punishment, because the message by going after Herman Cain, the message is to other blacks, “You stay right where you are or this will happen to you. You stay on this side of the aisle or we try to destroy you, too.”
(interruption) Yeah, Larry Sinclair had a shady background, convicted felon, reportedly crimes for forgery, bad checks, theft by check; but he did level an accusation against Obama, and it was never treated with any seriousness or sincerity. Oh, The Politico did? Okay, here it is. June 18th, 2008. (singing) Summertime and the livin’ is easy. My favorite version of Summertime is by Billy Stewart. Yeah, I think 1964, 1965. I have one small suggestion for the folks here and at CitizenWells, Larry Sinclair’s site, Glenn Beck’s GBTV, Oprah’s site, Hannity, Rush Limbaugh’s site, the Military Times, Mark Levin, the Christian Broadcast Network, the ACLU, the Huffington Post, the Daily Kos, the Tea Party, and the Occupy Wall Street bunch, and any other organization or news organization that might remotely be interested in getting to the bottom of all these stories!
Why can’t we find a responsible police department, a group working with injured Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans, or the Girl Scouts to allow the readers of the above groups to do a fund raising for the truth? Or maybe all three?
What if three agreeable unbiased polygraph examiners agreed to conduct an examination for charity of Larry Sinclair and the accusers of Presidential Candidate Herman Cain?
Maybe we can get a national syndicated radio or television network to broadcast the event?
All we would need is an honest fund raising organization to hold OUR donations in trust for the charities and we are in business.
I’m fairly sure if Larry Sinclair could be assured of an honest hearing of his allegations, he would agree. He has always demonstrated a desire for voters to know the truth. However, I’m not sure about Herman Cain’s accusers.

Now that I have watched the whole debate, the one problem with the Cain/Newt debate is it is not a debate. It is a discussion. It is a great discussion, but the two agree with each other most of the time. Newt never got a chance to challenge 999, and Cain only mentioned it once shortly. Either way, Newt is clearly brilliant. The two would make a good ticket. If that was the plan to showcase these two, it worked.
Tina, thanks for those comments. I missed it entirely, except for some short clips on Fox. Newt is certainly very well spoken, but I have problems with his past record of caving in to the opposition when he was in Congress. He is a great theoretician, but in practice – that seems to be something else at times.
However, I’m getting to the point that we are going to have to forget the past to a certain extent with all of the candidates. All things considered, right now it seems that the overwhelming requirement is to win over Obama.

Yes, Newt’s a great idea guy….and good teacher type….and funny too, but he must know that some of his points that do get a good response from the audience are above being practical. That’s why he’s a good professor, challenging the students to come up with ideas. But it’s the plodder, risk taker personally who usually gets the work done.
His qualities of liking to share ideas rather than just respond in sound bites is the only way the public will ever begin to learn new ways of responding to the real problems rather than listening only to mindless drive by types. And that was a great point made by Mr. Cain….that journalists today are misinforming the public and distorting the information….no ethical standards. And isn’t that one of the main problems at the heart of things….that, along with the educational system also misinforming the young about the real world!!

“The Same Day Registration Act would require states to provide for same day voter registration for a federal election. The Voter Access Protection Act would make sure election officials cannot require photo identification in order to cast a vote or register to vote,” he said.
Ellison, whose schemes are being cosponsored by Reps. Yvette Clarke of New York, Marcia Fudge of Ohio, Raul Grijalva of Arizona, Alcee Hastings of Florida, Barbara Lee of California, Gwen Moore of Wisconsin and Jose Serrano of New York, noted that such “fraud” “seems to be occurring only within historically Democratic voting blocs like minorities and students.”

“I take the GAO findings very seriously,” he told the committee in his statement. “Following the law is not voluntary for administration officials. That is why Dr. Holdren should commit today to full compliance with Section 1340 and publicly acknowledge his error in participating in the bilateral conference with the Chinese government.”
He said the U.S. has been a leader in space technology for decades, and it should be wary of any agreements through which others would have access to its technology.

Occupy DC protesters violently injured peaceful Tea Party go-ers (some elderly) and attemped to force entry into the Washington Convention Center on Friday (Nov 4, 2011), where Americans for Prosperity is hosting their “Defending the American Dream Summit.” The protesters also formed roadblocks, surrounding the convention center and only allowing non-luxury cars to pass. Parents with their children were caught in the violence. Some injured… Auto/pedestrian accidents occured as Occupy protestors rushed into the streets hurling profanities at drivers and attempting to block drivers’ paths. This has to stop.
